The fourth season of You, was confirmed on October 13, 2021 by Netflix,[1] with Part 1 premiering February 9, 2023, and Part 2 premiering a month later on March 9, 2023.[2]

Production[]
On October 13th, 2021, it was announced that You was renewed for a fourth season.[1] On March 22, 2022, the official You Twitter account confirmed that production had began in London,[8][8][6] and was expected to run through July 2022. Filming officially ended on August 26, 2022.[9]
Casting[]
Along with the announcement of the season, Penn Badgley was confirmed to return for Season 4.[1] On February 17, 2022, it was announced that Lukas Gage had joined the cast as a series regular, playing the character Adam.[7] Later, on March 25, 2022, it was announced that Charlotte Ritchie had joined the cast as a new female lead opposite Penn Badgley, playing the character Kate.[4]
In February 2022, filming it was stated that filming was scheduled to begin in London in mid-March 2022 and run through to July 2022.[10] Filming officially began on March 22, 2022 in the United Kingdom, with John Scott directing.[8] According to ProductionWeekly, filming is slated to take place in Los Angeles.[11] Filming took place at the Royal Holloway University in Engham, England from April 14 until around April 20, 2022.[12]
On February 17th, the YouWriters account shared the first draft of episode 1 written by Sera Gamble and Leo Richardson. While the episode title has been blurred out, some have speculated that episode 1 is “Joe Goes to Italy”.[10]
Filming on the upcoming fourth season, will be set in London. Production is under way in London on the new season.[6]
On September 24, 2022, it was revealed that the season would premiere on Netflix on February 10 and March 10, 2023[13], before being moved to February 9 and March 9, 2023 on November 24, 2022.[2]
