Raphael "Phil" Passero is one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside Ivan Mooney) of Netflix's You. He is the biological father of Joe Goldberg and was addicted to alcohol and drugs. He and his girlfriend, Sandy Goldberg did not got along at all, having arguments all the time, in addition to having several brief separations. He is portayed by Billy Lush.

Raphael's death
Everything got worse when Sandy became pregnant with a boy who Sandy named Joe. The relationship was always bad, but it got worse when Raphael discovered Sandy's betrayals with other men and turned to alcohol. Raphael frequently beat his girlfriend until nine-year-old Joe decides to kill his biological father in order to save him and his biological mother.
