Plot[]
A charming first encounter quickly turns into something more nefarious when bookstore manager Joe takes a very strong liking to grad student Beck.
Summary[]
Joe Goldberg observes Beck when she goes to his bookshelf. They flirt with each other and she gives her full name before leaving. He seems to become interested in her.
On his way home, he hears his neighbors arguing. He establishes that the woman, Claudia, is a single mother with a boyfriend, Ron. He finds her son, Paco reading outside the apartment. He gives him his meatball sub before entering his own apartment.
He looks Beck up and finds information about her life and her current address, and her schedule. Joe walks by her house and sees her in the windows. He follows her around to learn her schedule.
