Hugo McNamara is a minor character in season 4 of YOU. He is one of Tom Lockwood's numerous bodyguards. He was killed unpreparedly by Joe Goldberg when he tried to save Tom Lockwood. He is portrayed by Craig McGinlay.
Biography[]
Backstory[]
At some point in his life, Hugo became one of Tom Lockwood's closest bodyguards.
Season 4[]
He and other security guards were sent to Hampsie, at Lady Phoebe's house, at the behest of Lockwood, to protect his daughter, Kate, from the Eat-the-Rich Killer. He is later seen trying to save Lockwood, trapped in a chair, but is caught off guard by Joe, who cuts the Achilles tendon in his foot, and then stabs him twice in the neck, killing Hugo. Later, Joe frames Hugo for Lockwood's murder, claiming Hugo was in tremendous debt and allegedly killed Tom Lockwood for money.
Personality[]
Hugo shows himself to be a loyal security guard, seen when Kate insists that he go after Joe in the forest, who was being hunted by Roald, but Hugo ends up giving in to Kate's will and ends up going after Joe, along with the other security guard.

- Hugo is Joe's sixteenth victim.
